This premium hard shell roof top tent range delivers the high-quality engineering and construction you expect from DARCHE, wrapped in a sleek aluminium shell. The Ridgeback HighRize is our largest hard shell tent, yet it still folds down slimmer than most soft shell models.

The high-spec construction gives you unmatched quality, with German-engineered Stabilus struts for effortless set-up and pack-down. Inside, innovation continues. Six large windows open up almost panoramic views, while the plush 55 mm memory foam mattress with removable cover and water-resistant base, combined with a 10 mm high-rebound anti-condensation mat, delivers one of the most comfortable nights’ sleep you’ll ever have on the road.

The interior features USB-powered LED lighting that has been laboratory tested to meet all Electromagnetic Compatibility and User Safety standards. There’s plenty of space to keep you cool and comfortable. The removable fly offers protection from sun and rain, and with three full-size entry points, you can mount the ladder wherever it suits your setup. The tent body is made from premium 280 gsm Ripstop Recycled Polyester Oxford with a 3000 mm waterhead rating, high-profile automotive rubber weather seals, internal seam sealing, and a removable fly to keep you dry even in prolonged wet conditions.

With optional roof rails and awning bracket kits available (sold separately), the Ridgeback HighRize offers everything you could want from a hard shell roof top tent — and more. The included mounting rails are compatible with most commercially available flat roof rack and roof rail systems.
