Universal Rooftop Tent Mounting Solution for Platform Racks
Want to install a rooftop tent on your platform roof rack, but the mounting channels don't align with the direction of the platform slats? The Darche Universal RTT Platform Mount provides a practical and flexible solution, allowing you to securely mount your rooftop tent regardless of slat direction.
Designed specifically for Darche and Kozi rooftop tents, this universal mounting system uses four crossbars to create the correct mounting orientation between your rooftop tent and platform rack. Whether the platform slats run lengthwise or across your vehicle, the system provides the flexibility needed for installation.
The kit includes Darche Drop & Lock Channel Bolts for compatible 21mm T-channel systems. Its low-profile construction adds just 47mm of height, keeping your rooftop tent installation compact.
Additional mounting possibilities: Although primarily designed for rooftop tents, some customers also use this mounting system for custom awning installations, including certain 360° awning setups. This can be useful when the direction of the mounting channels needs to be changed. Compatibility depends on the awning, roof rack and mounting configuration.
The system may also be suitable for rooftop tents from other brands, provided the mounting configuration is compatible.
